Common Questions
What is a credit score?
Many people mistakenly think that a credit report and a credit score are synonymous. A credit report only details credit history. Using that history, a credit score is scientifically calculated. Each bureau assigns a different score based on the information that is reported to them. The score indicates how likely you are to repay a loan and gives lenders and other parties, who have legitimate reasons to evaluate your credit, an idea of what kind of a risk you would be to them.
